The Lighthouse welcomes Sarah Robins (1988) to exhibit her third act of a consistent series which was first publicly performed in 2018. Sarah was born in USA and has based herself in Zurich since 2013. Her practice has evolved from her early years in the theater, using voice and movement, she actively engages an audience throughout her professional and personal life.

This is not a performance | Join me, began as an experiment and exercise in public social interaction, driven by the artists deeply inherent enthusiasm, derived from the Greek enthousiasmos ’divine inspiration’, to interact with an unexpecting audience, observing the diversity of public engagement by location during a 100-minute duration.

The Lighthouse first experienced the artist’s work as an unexpected participating pedestrian during her second performance, held outside Kir Royal on Langstrasse. Later, Sarah was introduced to the space, in which it quickly became clear that she was the ‘girl in the golden leggings’.
